Emotional Coma=kick ass heavy metal. :dio:

Just discovered this band. This appears to be their first album in 6 years. Patrik Johansson from Wuthering Heights is doing the vocals and, while not a big WH fan, his voice was the best thing in The Shadow Cabinet.
The music on Emotional Coma fucking rules, especially the faster songs. Heavy sound, great riffs and awesome vocals...oh yeah and the dude who did the drums on Demonoid's Riders Of The Apocalypse demonstrates his awesome skills ones more. The music itself is very straightforward, I didn't hear any keys and there aren't any progressive gimmicks. I guarantee you won't find any flower stuff here.

Check their myspace if you're interested. Edge Of The Razor and The Arsonist are from their latest album: http://www.myspace.com/lionsshare

Not bad at all. Some tracks do have keys, though, listen to Sins of a Father again.

The new album doesn't have any keys and compared to the rest of the bands catalog is more modern sounding, much like what Tarot did from For The Glory Of Nothing to Crows Fly Black. The album Entrance from 2001 for example sounds to me like Messiah's Kiss, while Emotional Coma have the crunch and melody of modern day Tarot. I think only the guitar player remains as original member so that and the long 6 years between albums explains thing a little.

As of now i'm only hyping Emotional Coma and not Lion's Share (or the rest of their albums), sorry you got confused. Try listening the entire album if you're interested.
