THE STEVE GRIMMETT BAND, the new group fronted by legendary British heavy metal vocalist Steve Grimmett (GRIM REAPER, ONSLAUGHT, LIONSHEART), ahs entered the studio with producer Dennis Ward (KROKUS, SILENT FORCE, PINK CREAM 69) to begin recording its debut album, tentatively titled "Personal Crisis". The projected track listing for the effort is as follows (in no particular order):

01. Enemy
02. Freedom
03. Afterglow
04. Fallen
05. Invincible
06. Wait Forever
07. I'm Your Nightmare
08. Promises
09. Lonely
10. Strength
11. Karma
12. Slipping Away

Steve Grimmett (GRIM REAPER, ONSLAUGHT, LIONSHEART) - Vocals
Ian Nash (LIONSHEART, SEVEN DEADLY SINS) - Guitar
Ritchie Walker - Bass
Pete Newdeck (PAUL DI'ANNO'S KILLERS) – Drums, Vocals

Grimmett recently appeared in a Superbowl commercial for Garmin Satellite Navigation Systems. The commercial was played during the Superbowl about midway through second quarter. Watch it online at YouTube.com.

The demos sound very promising. This is definately one to watch out for.

Grim Reaper and Onslaught both kill (Although i like Onslaught better with Sy Keeler) so i quess i'll have to keep my eyes and ears open for this. The demos sound a bit too poppy for my tastes though.

The demos sound promising, but there is something about them that doesnt convince me, i guess ill have to wait for the finished versions, on the other hand the new Onslaught album should kick ass.
