Does anyone have the Crucible or Resurrection Remasters? Is the quality improved much? Can anyone post them?

Remasters of half a decade year old albums? If they're not filled with bonus tracks what's the point?

In the pop music world, you can see the possiblilty, as the music and trends are treated as disposable anyway. In a genre like metal, there will always be fans who worship their favorite bands and will want to collect the artwork, etc. CDs will not entirely disappear. If they did, there would be quite the uproar.

Pop music will do fine because those bands will just make a living touring. Record labels, people who can't tour a lot, and bands who are just on the edge of making a living on the other hand won't fare so well.

Of course not, because people like you download their albums for free regardless.
