Does anyone have the Crucible or Resurrection Remasters? Is the quality improved much? Can anyone post them? |

Are they released yet? And I hate it when they remaster albums that already sound great. I can't really hear any flaws on Resurrection. |

This is not a forum where you can steal music. Don't ask for free downloads again please. |

Remasters of half a decade year old albums? If they're not filled with bonus tracks what's the point? I loved both Halford albums btw |

I loved both Halford albums btw They're strictly digital re-releases. I see little point, but Halford seems to think digital media will make CDs obsolete within the next few years. He's an idiot for thinking this, of course. He's just trying to make some cash, I think. The Fight reissues sound great; but again, they're digital releases only—which I feel is a bit of a smack in the face for fans, especially since they're iTunes exclusive. |

As long as services such as itunes saddle us with these ridiculous and misnamed DRM then the good old CD will still have a place in this world. |

As long as there are guys like me in the world, the CD will go nowhere. I would never, ever pay for music in any other form. |

Why? Two of them are saying that they think the cd format is superior to music in digital form, and that they'll keep supporting it. I wouldn't pay for music in digital form either, as long as the cd is still around. Noodles however.. ![]() |

In the pop music world, you can see the possiblilty, as the music and trends are treated as disposable anyway. In a genre like metal, there will always be fans who worship their favorite bands and will want to collect the artwork, etc. CDs will not entirely disappear. If they did, there would be quite the uproar. |

I always want to have the CD, which is why I hardly ever download stuff. Looking at the way vinyl made a comeback, I think CDs are pretty safe. I just hope the older ones don't start melting of their own accord in say, five years or so. |

That's what I think. Bring on Napster, Kazaa, Torrents, and everything else. Metal won't be harmed by them. |

Pop music will do fine because those bands will just make a living touring. Record labels, people who can't tour a lot, and bands who are just on the edge of making a living on the other hand won't fare so well. |

Of course not, because people like you download their albums for free regardless. |

Probably, but I feel Halford fans should be constantly reminded of it. |
