Fuckin' awesome. Listening to the promo right now. A bit more orchestrated than Holy War, and more epic. Awesomeness. |

How is it compared to Starfall? I never udnerstood all the praise that album got. Holy War is better imho. |

I never really listened to Starfall, but Holy War is good, and this is even better. |

I thought it was pretty boring. It has a few killer tracks, "Contact" being one of the best songs I've heard all year, but the album falls short. Another disappointment. |

I love this album! Antimatter is a killer song ![]() A huge improvement over Starfall, which was quite disappointing after such a great album like Holy War. |

Starfall was pretty overrated. Dragonland are one of the wimpiest power metal bands out there, but they're still pretty cool. A full album is just too much to take in one go sometimes. |

The new Angra, the new Heavenly, and now this offering are the only albums getting any play-time around here. I wish the synths were a bit more audible like they were in Starfall, but I enjoy the heavier guitars and better drum sounds. Vocals have improved, as there seems to be a lot less strain on his voice than before. I'm kind of confused by the continuation of the trilogy from Starfall, as it seems out of place on the album, and doesn't even flow all that well with the Starfall trilogy to begin with. |

I'm still undecided with Dragonland. Their first album was pretty good and contains the best intro i've heard in ages (Dragondawn, it has that LOTR feel to it). But Holy War seemed like a backwards step for the band, not as good as the 1st one. Based on that, i never really bothered to hear Starfall, even though people said it was their best album. I recently heard Beethoven's Nightmare on a metal radio show and i still cant hear much improvement. One thing that annoys me with this band is the vocalist. At times his voice sounds really bad and others its very good. The other thing is that the band has 4 albums under their belt now and really havent made much progress. I cant hear much improvement from "...Ivory Plains" to this new one... |
