Another band keeping power metal alive. The vocalist is mediocre, but the songs are catchy as hell. I've been listening to "The Final Requiem" today and it is really sounding good, almost better than "Far From Heaven." What do you guys think?

Agreed. Great band! I wish their choruses were thicker, a bit more oomph! behind them, you know? Or am I just a Def Leppard fan? Either way, great band!

Pretty good band. A friend of mine told me about this band. I borrowed the "Far From Heaven" album from him and liked it. "Blind Leading The Blind" is a very good song! The other songs didn't stand out so much but were still catchy and enjoyable.

+1 on Blind Leading the Blind. That is their best IMO.

Yeah good songs but the vocalist has started to sound a bit chirpy to my ears. Still +1 on Blind Leading The Blind.

Very solid statement. I think this is the reason peeps say they are "generic" power metal. They dont need to go overboard like say "rhapsody" choruses, but say some good middle-ground "oomph" is needed. Choruses where you basically only hear the lead vox "still" becomes Monotonous after a while. This is a very good point and could apply to many bands across many diff genres (black/death/viking/power/and trad). This is always one of my biggest complaints, sometimes tho "catchy" i am still not "uplifted" if you will.
AS far as this album have not heard it , but will be ordering from cduniverse.com pretty soon along with some others :)
