| Post subject: | Why did Bruce and Adrian leave Maiden? |
I use to actually wonder what were the main reasons for these 2 people to leave Maiden. Yeah they said it was to pursue a solo career, but who knows? Well I don't. Does anyone else know the real reason why Bruce and Adrian left Maiden? |

Bruce said he wanted to see if he could still live up to his reputation as a musician if he left the band and started to make music alone, or something. |

Bruce said that he was being handed record deals soley for his Maiden association. He left the band so that he would have the oppurtunity to prove himself on his own merits. That's the official story anyways. As for Adrian, he doesn't talk much. |

I think Adrian was just sick of playing heavy metal. Bruce certainly was, he basically left because he was having a midlife crisis. |
