I'm really anxious of hearing the new Porcupine Tree that will be released April 24th in North America.

There's a medley of the upcoming album available on their myspace page (http://www.myspace.com/porcupinetree) and it sounds terrific.
I'm even more anxious now!

Any Porcupine Tree fans here ?

I love Porcupine Tree. Still looking to get hold of Lightbulb Sun, but I haven't found it anywhere yet, so I'm eagerly awaiting for the remaster to be released.

As for Deadwing, I think it was the album of their that took the longest for me to fully grasp. At first the only songs that really got to me was Lazarus, and to some extent, Shallow. After a while though, I couldn't help but to realise how incredible songs like "Arriving Somewhere..", Deadwing and Mellotron Scratch truly are.

I think the new album will be another great one. Steven Wilson is on a roll, the new Blackfield album will probably be awesome too.

The only songs that I really like on Deadwing were Arriving Somewhere But Not Here and Deadwing. Mellotron Scratch is OK but gets ruined because the ending vocal harmony reminds me of something a boy band like Backstreet Boys or N'Sync would use.

I can't believe you just compared something in a Porcupine Tree song with Backstreet Boys

I'm eyeing this upcoming album as well. I'm also hoping that their talks of a US tour including more than just NYC and I can see them live sometime this year.
