Generic? Hmm... I kind of thought he had his own style which made him unique. Now Jag Panzer on the other hand, they're pretty generic, although, I'm still yet to hear their earlier stuff with Tafolla in the band.

Nobody else huh? Well maybe if I changed the title to "Joey Tafolla ex-Jag Panzer guitarist", this might get more hits.

I'm not really big on shredders. I generally like what I hear, but the thought of a full album of it doesn't really excite me. The samples were pretty nifty, though.

Pretty much my response. I bow down to the talent, but I can't sit through an entire album of it.

I do like Jag Panzer though.

Tafola is an amazing guitarist, I think I have one of his solo albums sitting around somewhere, great player. I always thought Briody was a bit too neoclassical for the heavier Panzer tunes (I think decade of the nail spiked bat is the best proof for this). Taffola had it just right! But alas, he is ur typical mercenary musician, and asks for a large amount of money to allow the re-release of ample destruction, hence the re-recordings by the current panzer lineup.
