After taking a long and much needed break from forum activity (mostly this one  ), I've decided to get back into the discussions. Special thanks to those who contacted me and encouraged me to continue to share my opinions/help/knowledge outside of the Metal CD Ratings site.

For those who haven't been to the site in awhile...

Yeah, nice to have you back. By the way Clint, where on earth can I find that Sagga album? I haven't seen it anywhere, in fact the only place I've even seen it mentioned is on your website :?

Thanks for welcoming me back. :D
Since I began the MCDR site, the Sagga CD is the one I get asked about the most. I'm fairly certain my review for it is the only one in existence in English. :?
I doubt it ever pops up on Ebay and it for sure isn't available at any of the regular online-order shops (The End, Century Media, etc.) and Sentinel Steel has not been able to get it back in stock.
So... I think your best bet is to grab it off GEMM.com, which should have some available. They will be more expensive than what we're all used to, but should be well worth the price if you're into bands like Angra and Labyrinth. :D
The band has changed their name to 'Holy Sagga" recently, so be sure to use that name when doing searches.

Good luck! :D

WTF you gave Evergrey's new one 4/5 dude what are you smoking.I was very disappointed in this one it goes right up there with Stratovarius's s/t CD.

And by the way don't call that album prog there isn't anything prog on that CD.

Evergrey's new CD has definitely received a lot of mixed feelings. I don't at all think it's their best, but stand by the rating.

I've always felt like Evergrey was dark progressive power metal, but I agree that this is their least progressive to date. 8)

Thanks for the feedback! :D

Welcome back man. I'm usually at your website every 2 weeks, going through the new cds you have.

Gotta tell you, though: some of the reviewers you have there are definatelly smoking something before they review certain albums. I've found myself cursing the screen numerous times after reading their reviews...

Hope I didn't sound like an asshole Clint that wasn't my intention just was quite shock from the rating.

Yes Evergrey is dark prog/power but on this CD they dismissed their prog elements it just sounds like an uninspired heavy album with very little keyboards and Tom's voice which is very very good on pervious albums lacks that powerful emotional tone he always had since day 1.

I happen to enjoy albums like The Dark Discovery,SDT,Recreation Day and even The Inner Circle but this one was just a big disappointment.

I hope that they go back into prog mode on the next album.

Our update schedule is every 2 weeks, yes. But we're currently in the middle of an uncommon 3-week gap. 8)

It would be great if you could tell me specifically which reviews shocked you, even if they're mine. 8)
I know everyone has different opinions and tastes (I mention this more than most people), but we do want to be as accurate as we can in the eyes of the majority.

No offense taken at all, I appreciate the feedback. :)
There will be ratings that you'll disagree with from time to time for sure. Hopefully, you're usually in agreement though.

Nice to see you back, and nice to see that the new Korpiklaani is good. I'll be picking that one up as soon as possible.

Yes. Welcome back. us power metal Fans need you here, because we are falling back into minority :(

Great updates by the way. I like the fact that you give the obscure/indys reviews as well. I can actually find reviews from the undergroundsymphony label at your site.

Keep up the good work :)

Hey Clint, i'm glad to see you're finally back.

Good job with the Cloudscape review, although i feel you've been somewhat generous. The sound on Crimson Skies is lighter than on the debut and the s/t still has my fav. songs. :D

Is there going to be a review of the new Kiuas album soon ?

Thanks for the welcoming! :D

I think the new CD will really grow on you and I definitely think it's better than the debut (although maybe a bit harder for some to digest... seems to be the case for a lot of fans).

Just assigned the new Kiuas to fellow colleague Kit, but he provided a full review for their debut, so he might just provide a simple rating/comment for their new one. Not sure though... 8)

Thanks for your interest! :D
