Persuader - When Eden Burns

Persuader's 3rd album is released on the 15h of May. They have 2 songs from the new album on their webradio at http://www.persuader.nu/

I can sum up the 2 new songs with one word: OWNAGE!

(especially the title track!)

Persuader and Savage Circus kick ass. I have a strange feeling that we are gonna enjoy these over the BG full length, but I hope not :(

I wouldn't go that far. But someone else in another thread mentioned this band taking off. If this album gets the right promotion, there's no reason they shouldn't take off.

American bands trying to be hard and aggressive (Trivium, Shadows Fall, millions of other dime a dozen Metallica worshippers) need to take notes and learn how in your face metal is done. Hibria could give a few of those lessons too.

Fucking great songs!!! I wouldn't have had it any other way. Jens Carlsson is the man! I'm gonna start a fanclub for this guy hehe.

This two new songs... they really capture that mystic magical feeling that Blind Guardian use to have, but lost. It's a bit hard to believe I'm saying this (since BG are in my all-time top 3 bands), but at this point, I'm expecting When Eden Burns a lot more anxiously than A Twist In The Myth.

But i believe I was the first person to mention Persuader as one of the young bands to have the potential to be the next big band. Going by the reaction by others in here to the tracks heard, this could be their year...

EDIT: They have 2 albums. "The Hunter", which is ok for a debut, and "Evolution Purgatory", which is fucking awesome. Brilliant tracks such as To The End, Turn To Dust, Strike Down and many others. This album was my #2 album for 2004
