Not long ago i got into in flames and i would recomend them to you because they are so different than the usual power metal stuff. And they are a good link to death metal and other types of metal. |

I like everything up to Colony, but after that I can't say I enjoy them too much. I thought Jester Race and Lunar Strain were best. I know Whoracle gets a lot of press, its good, but I'd rank it with Colony, but then In Flames were getting short on ideas. |

I could listen to death or black metal if it weren't for the vocals. I've got nothing against the intensity, distortion or brutality I just refuse to listen to the growling/screaming. I have no desire to learn to listen to it either, I don't even think it's very heavy. I do like harsh vocals though like Hansi Kürsch in his prime, and screamers like Udo Dirkshneider or Rob Halford. |

I know what you're saying...that's what i always thought - the vocals are painfully awful! But it's not like that...at least not with every band...try some in flames album (CLAYMAN) and i think you'll agree and maybe thank me or better yet give me some insight on some other interesting music! And EYESORE...get a (blow)job...you'll feel betta!!! |
