Who the fuck voted for Crimson Thunder and why???

Glory To The Brave. I love "Hammerfall" and "Child Of The Damned."

Anyone who read my post about my top 25 metal albums of '05, you would know that i consider Chapter V to be their best album. Followed by Crimson Thunder then a tie between Legacy Of Kings and Glory To The Brave. Last would be Renegade.

I just like the different sound Hammerfall have in their most recent albums than their 1st couple of albums. More heavy, chunkier sounding guitars, a tad faster and just has more "balls" to their sound. Not saying their 1st 3 are bad, far far from it. I love Hammerfall and own all their albums, but just think Chapter V is their best.

I like Crimson Thunder but I haven't really listened to the rest of the albums enough to form an opinion on which is my favorite.

Well mine is believe it or not Crimson Thunder.I like this album a lot.I really dig songs like the opener Riders Of The Storm and the title track Crimson Thunder.I know this isn't on some fans fav lists but for me it is.

Legacy of Kings and Glory to the Brave are the only two I have heard, and they both rule. Altough, I find Legacy of Kings to be a little better than Glory to the Brave. So, Legacy of Kings it is for me.

I've only heard random songs from each album, like 3 or 4... Legacy of Kings had the best random songs followed by Glory To The Brave.. I keep meaning to get those. The new ones dont sound as good, I cant explain why, they just dont (Though I suppose I should listen to the whole thing before I decide I dont like it).

I'm gonna have to say Renegade though Glory To The Brave gets very close. To me Renegade just sounds better as a whole.

Thats right, you heard me. Whats the problem? I even had another listen to Legacy Of Kings before, mainly to hear At The End Of The Rainbow, which is their best song from their earlier period, and yes their older stuff is slower, more mid-paced. Some are quick but overall their newer stuff is a tad faster overall. Their guitars DO have a more crunchier feel to them too. Deeper sounding, i dont know how else to explain it. To me, their newer stuff sounds better to my ears than their older stuff

I still own Legacy Of Kings, and sold off my Glory To The Brave some time ago. So it's Legacy for me ! Though my favourite song in there happened to be the cover Back To Back hah.
