i somehow failed to find the review of their album "Spirit of the Forest'. anybody heard of them? (ok, the question is rethorical, no need answering  )
they are another extremely folk influenced band from finland. 'Spirit of the Forest' is, most probably, one of the best albums in this style i've heard to date. in my humble opinion.

In a matter of fact the title Korpiklaani jump of the screen and into my head. I have in fact heard a few songs of 'Spirit of the Forest' and I must say it sounds very good!!! It's also about damn time someone mentioned them!! Thank-you! I would definately recommend purchasing this album!!!!!!

I like Spirit Of The Forest, its very a polished album , good production but at times more folk than metal.

Im now listening to their latest album Voice Of Wilderness- 2005
I have had for some time , it has elements of agrression, speed and the vocals are very good ,( rough and aggressive) , but very easy on the ears this is more metal than folk .If you like folk themed power, metal with speed and agressive vocals look no longer..
I have been so busy lately just to lazy to post anything.....

Cottages and Saunas
Journey Man
Beer, Beer
Hunting Song

Among my favs....

I have both of their albums.. and they are consistently good. I would probably place Spirit of the Forest above Voice of Wilderness.. just because it's got a couple more killer tracks.

I found this band just recently with Voices Of Wilderness. Great folk album indeed. The four songs flying_guitars mentioned are also my favs. The only thing that annoys me is their lyrics. Ok, i can somehow understand why the lyrics are what they are in songs like Beer, Beer and Hunting Song, but they really have to write better stuff than that. It just ruins the overall feel of the music.

Looks good enough. It would be better if they lose the deer-man for sure. Their logo rocks in any case. I expect great album.

Tales along the road will be there 2006 release, if there other artwork is anything to go by then i would say that the deer man wont be featured in 2006

I put them at the top of my 2006 list! pehaps a bit premature: I listned to the first few songs just once, and thought "Right, this has to be top"

But anyway....... Woo!
