http://www.blackmajesty.com/sc_disc.html Australian Melodic Metal. What are your thoughts? When I first heard them I wasn't impressed, but I recently put them back in my playing roataion and they have actually impressed me the second time around. They sound a lot like Dreamchatcher (see the Promote Your Band Forum). |

Crap. Everyone who's even heard of them seem to love them, so apparently I'm in minority for thinking that, but they just strike me as incredibly boring. Got their latest album on a whim and from this I learned that Limb doesn't have to be all excellent all the time. |

Black Majesty's Silent Company will be in my top 5 metal releases for 2005. It totally kicks ass and their version of Six Ribbons is bloody awesome! |

I agree with Trooper here, their 2nd CD is excellent. It won't be in my top 5 for the year though (maybe top 15), but I'd be surprised if you didn't really like this metalNESS. |

First album had elements of prog thown in there, while the 2nd is straight out power metal. With this album i rekon Black Majesty has become Australia's #1 power metal band. Fantastic album that is up there with the standards of any euro and american release |

I think the singer has potential to be one of the best in the genre. He has some frikin range. |
