A friend of mine gave me "The Nightcomers" album from this band called Holocaust anyone has heard them?,i think this album is great but i want to know your opinions on their other albums. |

Good NWOBHM, not awesome, but good. I think this is another band Metallica copied. |

My only experience of them has been the great cover of "Heavy Metal Mania" that Gamma Ray recorded for Rebellion in Dreamland EP. Nicely done and dark anthem; it was also kind of a surprise that kai & co. played it also live on the Land Of The Free tour, as we can hear from the Alive '95 -album. Ingo Schwichtenberg was actually supposed to play drums on that b-side one, and a drum track by him exists according to Kai, but his ability to play and timing wasn't too great and therefore wasn't used. Nice from Kai anyways trying to arrange some activity to an old buddy; Thomas Nack, who finished the recording, left the band next year and if Ingo just could have gotten his act together I presume we would have seen him in Gamma Ray.. |
