Yeah, these guys are really good. However, they're one of those bands that I never get around to listening to for some reason. I'll have to take one of their albums with me to the gym today....

Wow this is good. Some good old fashioned METALLLLLLLL!!!

I like their old singer better. Their new one sounds like Yngwie singing.

Vicious Rumors are one of the legends and founders of American Power Metal. Digital Dictator is perhaps considered their finest work. The singer you speak of is the great Carl Albert, one of the best high pitched vocalists to ever walk the planet. I also suggest checking out Albert's older bands, namely Villain and Ruffians. Villain's Time will Tell album is one of the most expensive pieces of metal, sold at sky high prices, but luckily it has been recently re-issued on the Greek label Cult Metal Classics on vinyl. Great piece of american metal!

Oh and all Rumors albums after Albert died sadly range from mediocre to plain bad (like that god auful something burning which I'm still unable to get rid of 5 years after I got it)!

My favorite album of theirs is 'Vicious Rumors' followed by 'Digital Dictator', 'Welcome to the Ball' and 'Word of Mouth'. Great US Power. Hail almighty Carl Albert (who unfortunately has passed away)!
