I have a couple of songs - Into the Fire and Trapped In Paradise (I think that's the name) but haven't listened to them in a long time. I remember liking them but for some reason I've never followed up on that.

WOW! The samples are awesome. I hear a HUGE Yngwie influence. The vocals aren't the best, but I could defintely get passed them with the quality of the music.

Toshi from X Japan, one of the greatest bands to walk the planet, had an excellent voice. I put him high on all time vocalists list.

No, not at all, but there is a language barrier there that seems to affect a lot of bands. Let's put it this way, Korean's can't say "pizza" because there's no zzz sound in their language, so they say "peecha." That's what I'm saying. A lot of bands from China, Korea and Japan have problems with the vocalist sounding almost comical.

So you're saying you have a problem with the pronunciation of English lyrics. I guess I'm not much for lyrics; Toshi has an amazing voice, no matter how bad his Engrish is.

I'm sure I could get used to Concerto Moon's singer's voice with time.

But seriously check them out. They are one of my all time favorite bands. They were one of the bands that got me into this genre of metal.

Post subject:	Concerto Moon: Anyone Like Them?
This is one of those bands I've been seeing in CD inserts for like Limb Music, or whatever, for years now. The covers always caught my eye like the Ivory Tower, Lana Lane or Pagan Mind CDs; great looking covers. They're a Japanese power metal band, which makes their CDs virtually impossible to find around here. Anyway, I finally downloaded a CD by them the other day called Rain Forest and smack my ass and call me Suzy if this isn't a killer power metal album! Some lyrics are sung in Japanese, but it's hardly noticeable as the vocals are very good, the singer definitely has skills. The music is of the same caliber, great, great stuff here! This one CD has impressed me a ton, but I listened to some clips on their website and they seem to maybe have changed it up a bit on some albums, maybe a little more melodic rock than power metal on some. Has anyone heard them? If so, what is there catalog like?

I think the singer for Concerto Moon has an excellent voice. He doesn't have that horrible Jap-Trying-To-Speak-English accent like the guy I saw kareoke-ing in Korea singing "Lorring On A Liva" (rolling on a river). Hahaha. Excellent voice, if you ask me, at least on this one album.
