I've never been a big Ozzy fan, and find Blizzard to be incredibly overrated, but I finally heard this album a few weeks ago, and seriously, what a fucking album! Zack Wylde may not be just as good as Randy Rhodes, but the songs are all killer on this one, and it completely destroys Blizzard of Ozz and Diary of a Madman. Anyone else agree? |

      Seriously guys, sometimes I doubt your taste... :? No Rest For The Wicked is a weak album with an oh so crappy production (not cheap, just totally fucking bad)... Imho it was Ozzy worst album when it came out and it has since been ass-kicked by any other album Ozzy released so, if you're looking for Ozzy's best it's either Blizzard of Ozz or Diary of a Madman but not No Rest For the Wicked which I'd rate around 55/100... I'd like to make clear that for me only B.o.O. is up to classic Ozzy's Black Sabbath and that's mainly because of Randy Rhoads's Genius... ![]() |

![]() No, there isn't any Solo Ozzy stuff that compare to Sabbath. Simpl;y because Solo Ozzy doesn't have the riffmaster Iommi on it! Blizzard of Ozz is overrated. Randy Rhoades is the only saving grace on it. the actual songwriting on it was horrendes. |

The Mars Volta and Coldplay? ![]() The production on this one, while not outstanding, certainly does the job and the songwriting is great, much better, as Skullthrone says, than Blizzard of Ozz. Just listen to Devil's Daughter! Incredible song. |

Alot of stuff owns Ozzy hard. For me, "Accident of Birth" and "The Chemical Wedding" from Bruce Dickinson destroy anything Ozzy did in his solo career. |

I have always found Blizzard and Diary (and all of Ozzy's career, basically, except for this album, Sabotage and some other early Sabbath stuff) to be very mediocre. This one, though, has great riffs, is catchy, has excellent solos (but, alas, Ozzy's vocals are as bad as usual). What more could one want? |
