I only have their debut, but man it ranks as one of the greatest metal albums of all time. Wondering if Otakon or maybe Brahm have heard the stuff with members of Exodus and Heathen, of course this isnt limited to only those two...the Voice has pretty good metal tastes...can't speak for the rest of you though.. :D

I haven't heard any more than the self-titled (debut? I dunno), but it kicks quite a bit of ass. Especially the title track, which of course makes it Angel Witch - Angel Witch - Angel Witch. One of the better NWOBHM bands, in my opinion.

I'm afraid to say I've only heard the debut as well, but seriously, what a great fucking album. I really need to get some more.

only heard the debut myself..... the current Angel Witch lineup interest me greatly but i dont know where to look for the new material.

I have yet to hear many other NWOBHM bands actually, the only other ones i'm into are Cloven Hoof, Diamond Head, Satan. I have a strong liking for NWOBHM but again most of the band's releases are hard to find today.

Well first and foremost then I would recommend Savage - Loose N Lethal, quite possibly one of the filthiest rocking NWOBHM albums ever. The guitars sound like chainsaws.

Spellbound by the Tygers of Pan Tang is also excellent.

The early Tokyo Blade cataloge is good, I guess a good starting point would be Night of the Blade.

Wytchfynde is good also, so is Witchfinder General.

hooooo !!!! this brings back good and sad memories... good because I obviously know these all (that includes Angel Witch too) and sad because most of those albums where lost while moving (something I'm sure I mentioned before)... :?

I'd like to add that Warning, Trust, Blasphème & Sortilège (among others) were really good bands (all french, kind of the FWOFHM [first wave of french heavy metal]) :D

For NWOBHM, besides the ones that HT reccomended I also really reccomend Blitzkrieg.. Any of their albums will do, really, but A Time of Changes and Absoloute Power are probably their best. Obviously, Saxon as well, though I doubt you haven't heard them. Incubus's To The Devil A Daughter is also quite awesome, as are the bands Holocaust, Tank, etc..

The first two Tygers of pan Tang albums are really raw rocking. Spellbound is more polished, but still excellent. Savage...is a must have. And Raven needs to be mentioned as well.
