What do you guys think of Daniele Liverani's rock opera project? I only have the first release, but I just read he's doing a third. How was the second release? Personally I like the first one, but that narrator sucked it hard. So, it's a slight hit for me because I did enjoy the songs themselves, but they didn't blow me away. And, also, naming the main character "Genius" is just the opposite.

I think with most people its a miss verse a hit. I like it, has a couple of gems, but overall I don't listen to it that much. Just not strong enough songs, but enjoyable every now and then.

Miss for me.
Both albums sound the same and they totally put me to sleep. And the fact that they are 80 minutes long doesn't help. The score of 65 that i gave them is only because of the great perfomance by most of the guests, although it seems a bit high now.And the story is extremely lame.

Big miss from me. Holy crap what were they thinking? I like one song off of Episode II, the rest is pretty crappy.

Total hit for me. Is the third installment out yet? So far it's had energy of a type which I can't describe, and that I normally don't feel from heavy/power metal..

It's a hit/miss for me.
Hit because of the progressive elements, there are a lot of memorable moments, and I don't think I ever could fall asleep listening to it. It also has some great guestperformances.
Miss because of the lyrics, they are in lack of a better word retarded. And the narration doesn't exactly help.
If someone else had been in charge of writing the lyrics, I would give both albums around 90/100.

No, he's working on the third one now. So, is that same narrator on the second disc? That dude sounds like a gay James Earl Jones.

I just got ahold of Episode II and will review it soon. I enjoyed the first one but agreed...the narration sucks hard. I haven't listened to Episode II yet so no judgement call just yet. Look for the review in the next couple of weeks

Excellent. Look forward to it. I want the CD, but I'm not paying full price. I'll have to just wait until I stumble across it.

I totally forgot that he did that one.....Oh well it's not as though I don't have enough others to review!! I'm going to listen to it in the next few days and I might add my score.......Thanks for the heads up....I would've wasted valuable time writing a review for something that's already been reviewed.......
