Let's try now another Clash of the Titans with those Two champions that represent heavy metal at its most rock'n'roll ! Udo vs Biff,Restless&Wild vs Denim&Leather;hard to chose? I can't vote here because i only vaguely heard some songs from Accept(and don't own any album) while i'm a Saxon fan(i own nearly every album). |

Metal at its most rocking. Hmmm well neither of these bands even come close to matching Savage, Motorhead, or the almighty Raven. |

Tough one, but I'd need to say Saxon, probably because I've heard more of their stuff. Saying that, 1985-1995 was more or less a complete abortion as far as Saxon are concerned. |

I'm going with Saxon here. The Strong Arm of the Law is just an incredible album, and the rest is very good as well (excepting, as Radagast says, that 86-95 period). Accept still rules, just not as much so. |

I've always wondered how come Accept aren't really discussed on these boards. It seems that many people are not that familiar with them, which is a shame. I remember a time when I used to consider Accept the 3rd greatest classic heavy metal band, surpassed only by Priest and Maiden. I'm not sure if I'd rank them so high anymore, but I definitely take them over Saxon anytime. As for the vocals, I think Udo completely destroys Biff. |

Saxon. I really love both, but Saxon just has a bigger and more impressive body of work. Larger amount of "classic" songs as well. |

Another pointless comparison! Accept are the fathers of edgy German metal, Saxon are one of the premier nwobhm acts! It's like asking which genre people like best! Anyway, my vote goes to both, Denim & Leather, Restless and Wild, Crusader are amongst my all time faves. And also Udo's voice is simply unique! |

Well as Asgardlord says, its not the most compatible of comparisons. Now if you'd said Raven vs Saxon, we might be getting somewhere. |

First of all ,Accept &Saxon are quite close,they began at the same time,they toured together,they play quite comparable music. then,even if it was Morbid Angel vs Queen,you can still say which one you prefer and why,and that's all this thread is about,so what the hell's the problem? |
