Everyone's least favorite JP album Turbo gets slammed once in a while so I was wondering what you guys thought. I call hit because it isn't bad at all.Songs like Turbo Lover charge you up yeah it aint the classic Priest we all know but they made that up with Painkiller anyway this isn't bad at all JMO. |

Hit. Its not the worst Judas Priest album (that goes to Point of Entry and Demolition) and many of the songs on here are quite good. The production is the shitty part, but the re-master fixes it a bit and the live versions fix it even better. When I saw Priest live last wednsday, Turbo Lover was just as awesome as Riding on the Wind and Diamonds and Rust. |

Hit! And a big one!I love this album,it has a party feeling.Private Property sounds like Bon Jovi(Bad Medicine).Great songs(Locked in,Reckless,Hot for Love,Rock you all around the world),one of JP's best ballad(Out in the Cold) and the amazing Turbo Lover. I discovered the band with this album, and i was quite surprised since i was expecting JP to be heavy and mean.I had no idea which album was good to start with;so the second album i got was Rocka Rolla(i was surprised even further);then the third album i got was Point of entry(which i still like);then i finally discovered the heavy side of JP with Defenders of the Faith. |

Miss. If I want poofy 80s cock rock there's a million bands I could listen to (good and bad). One of the best Heavy Metal bands in the world lowering themselves to it just seems perverse. |

funny, I always thought Judas Priest's least favorite was Point Of Entry.... which I also happen to like. My least fav' JP is without a doubt (not counting the archeologic Rocka Rolla or Ripper era) Ram It Down on which I find nothing but the most cliched metal JP ever produced... :( and about Turbo, I think it's an awesome pop metal album... one of the best... ![]() 85/100 |

Ram it Down is damn awesome. Not only does it have one of the best songs ever (that'd be the title track) with my favourite solo of all time, it also has other amazing tracks, from Heavy Metal to Hard as Iron to Blood Red Skies to I'm a Rocker. Ram it Down is the most underrated Priest disc. |

But I don't see whats wrong with Love Zone and Come and Get It... They're like Turbo songs with much better production and are of pretty good quality. If you like Turbo, or at least part of it, there's no reason you shouldn't like those two songs. |

HIT Turbo is my top 3 favourite JP albums, the other two being Painkiller and ........Demolition. I dont know why the majority of Priest fans hate this album, it really isnt any different from what they've usually done, and every album has it's differences anyway. Awesome songs like Turbo Lover, Locked In, Private Property, Parental Guidance, Out In The Cold, and others IMO, the worst Priest album would be Jugulator. Just pure drivel, couldnt get into any of the tracks. |

Miss Cheesy synths and even cheesier Cock_Rock lyrics. (Rob Halford gives new meaning to THAT term ![]() I mean it's not horrible, but Judas should have never lowered the bar for themselves as low as they did for this album. Still better than Ram it Down though............and don't even get me started on Demolition. 'Ripper' rapping on one song, WTF? |

Well it's like Twisted Sister with Love is for Suckers. Is it genuine Twisted Sister? No! Is it good? Hell yeah, it's a party metal record! That's pretty much the case with Turbo. Not what you'd call "hardcore" (excuse my language ![]() Oh, and Ram it Down is a good album, not the most inspired one, but "Blood Red Skies", "Ram it down" etc are top songs in my book (despite the fact they use a drum machine on this one...). |

I lied on another thread, I don't have every Priest album. The one i don't have is Point of Entry, which seems to be very disliked (but I will pick it up still to complete my collection). But I really don't like Turbo, sure Turbo Lover and Locked In are good but the rest of the album is to mainstream. Sounds like something Def Leppard (which I hate) would do. Now as for Ram it Down, another disapointment. Ram it Down the song is good, really good and so is Blood Red Skies. My favourite Priest (watching hockey and the Leafs just scored short handed Go LEAFS Go!, im canadian) album is either Jugulator (I don't know how anyone can say that album is bad) or Painkiller, but it was British Steel that got me into Priest. And don't make fun of Rocka Rolla, K.K. Downing wrote most of it but the songs Tipton contributed on were good. But as I said above, Turbo a miss along with Ram it Down, and Demolition. But with these downers, I still like them much better than Iron Maiden. (HAH thought I through that in ![]() |

Total hit, one of my top five favorite Judas Priest albums. Then I'm a total sucker for 80's hair rock/metal, but I'm still quite impressed over how they could change so radically in sound and still turn out something so amazingly well-written and enjoyable. Better, and more consistent, than for example Poison's best album (Open Up and Say...Ahh!). |
