Me too except I also own Rebirth which, while good, is not Temple.

Not that I quite buy into the hype surrounding Temple, it tails off towards the end I think.

I like all Angra. "Angels Cry" is a lot different than "Temple," but different in a good way... if that makes sense.

They are both so damn unique and amazing albums. The Brazilian instruments are a lot more obvious on “Angels Cry.”

Temple of Shadows or Rebirth. Both awesome albums.

Falaschi-era Angra > Matos-era Angra.

I've listened to Angra a few times but I've got nothing to say, not good or bad. I just can't seem to "get it".

Holy Land, then angels cry and then Fireworks,I think that rebirth was a good album but it feels recicled, temple of shadows was better but not as good as holy land,i think that this is how angra should sound, they had a very unique kind of sound in Holy land, like Shaaman did on Ritual, but they now sound like a more generic type of Power Metal, they still kick ass.
favourite songs:
1. Carolina IV.
2. Nothing to say.
3. Stand Away.
4. Z.I.T.O.
5. Petrified Eye.

I think they still sound very unique. Early Angra was unique, and now present Angra is unique. They invented a new kind of power metal with each Angra era. If that makes sense. :?

Temple of shadows and Holy Land if I remember correctly. Can't remember anything being particularly "catchy", maybe I just need another listen, recommendations?

We were listening to music and drinking at a friends house and I saw the mask on his wall. He wanted to take a picture and the rest is history :)... I got tired with the old ninja pic anyway.

 Why does your friend have a gas mask on his wall?

Well if you can not get into those two albums you probably won't like anything else, but Rebirth and Angels Cry are both fantastic albums. I recommened Rebirth.
