This is great value and very high quality. Inclues the video, a making of the EP, 3 live concert tracks, tour biography, as well as the making of the Video to the song "superheroes"
1st impression i did not care for the EP, but afer about 6 spins I am "utterly impressed". Fantastic songs and the songwriting (while drifting away from the vain glory/theater epic style) kick major ass. Retaining some 80s vibe along with shear magical metal (high vox, killer leads, timley moments, and basically a lot of "passion" and "sweat". I have never seen this band live (as most US fans), but I am amazed at the energy and passion this band displays live. I know there are some "haters" of this band, but I cannot see how. This is passionate music with 100% devotion to songwriting, studio time, and live effort. Sure there is many comic relief as these guys seem to not be serious in actions, and look; but who cares!
Every Edguy fan needs to have this DVD. 77 minutes and well worth the price.
All 6 songs on the cd are outstanding, and each different in there own ways.
"superheroes" is extremly catchy with an 80s rock vibe, not as comic as the lavatory song, but extremely well done. Better than many of the original master rock stars of the time era.
"spooks in the attic"- again kinda retains the 80s rock feel. With a n incredibly catchy chorus . After the first two tracks I have no doubt they are now "officially" the "catchiest" metal ever. Forget about the avenged sevenfold cd, it is ok, but hey now we have a singer, better vox, melodies, and slick leadwork (even on just the shorter 5 to 6 second bends here and there.)
"blessing in Disguise"- a symphonic ballad style song, with a lot of mystique. Never really speeds up, but still a good song.
"Judas at the Opera- interesting song- starts off very speed metal helloween type, then turns catchy with both serious and comic type lyrics. Tobias adjusts vocal styles unlike he has ever done on many of the versus. Judging by the title itself the song is not meant to be serious. The mid section has about a couple of minutes of "meat Loaf" style songwriting and being a big meat loaf fan from my youth, I simply love it. Hell i think they should do more songs in this "meat loaf" style because they pull it off so well.
"the Spirit"- a medieval or celtic style ballad that sound like it could be a part of Avantasia part III. This song would especially make for a great Blind Guardian ballad with Hansi singing, but it works with Tobias and the Edguy bunch, and it is great to know they have not totally left there power metal roots
I fully expect holy terror and Winter to fully disagree wether they have heard the EP or not.And I admit this is not a Satanic or brutal/heavy music, but it is still heavy metal with passion and great songwriting along with melodies that i will be able to sing to when im old and near death (if I make it

) and not some album that I knew was good, but couldnt really "remember" or "memorize" (without trying I might add). It just sticks with you
Anyone else that has the EP or DVD have an opinion.
oh forgot to mention there is a symphonic, slow tempo ballad style version of the title track as the 6th and final track.
So metal fans that are "ballad" haters, I guess this Ep and band are not for you, so move along! For those of us with more than a handful of emotions, sit and absorb
