Have y'all heard it yet? If so what do you think?

It's a bit simple by Opeth standards i think, but i like it none the less. Too bad i have to wait until august before i can hear the whole album.

Heard it once, not listening again.

It needs more twist and turns. Indeed, very simplistic for Opeth standards. I hope the rest of album isn't as naive as this. I have high hopes.

That bad huh?

I didn't love it the first time i heard it either, but it's kinda grown on me. That said, i hope the rest of the album will deliver the goods.

It won't grow on me. I was a big fan of this band until Ghost Reveries, then I switched to the dark side until Watershed, which briefly brought me back to the light...until Heritage. And I preferred most of Heritage to this track. Nah, I'm off to hear to the new Agalloch instead, good luck on liking the new album though guys!

reminds me of listening to dead can dance and the tea party on the way to karate when i was 10

Song is not bad but forgettable. I thought "Mikael's sure got a nice voice" "cool guitar lead" "silly choir thing" "cool guitar lead" "cool solo" but nothing about it makes me want to hear it again. Weak melody.

Although it mostly makes me want to listen to Thick as a Brick.

Awesome track noodles, i like this quite a bit more than Cusp Of Eternity. Tasty synth and hammond work, badass drumming and good vocals. I have more hope now. Funky opening too...I'm liking this alot indeed.

I like 'Cusp of Eternity'. Have faith, I'm sure that Opeth won't disappoint us.

I have high hopes for this album as well as mentioned else where. By what people have been saying on the archives, it's much more cohesive than "Heritage" and a mixture of "Ghost Reveries" and "Watershed" or something like that. Release date is August 26th. Cannot wait!
