Nice list. Agreed about Rick Wakeman but I do enjoy his first few solo releases..

Its difficult to compile a top twenty because every album made by these bands in the 70's would be in the list.

Damn, whats with the lack of Priest love in this thread? Some of their best albums were from the seventies.

it's not so much a lack of love for Priest as it is a decade of many wonders where I find it hard to include JP :roll:
see, I haven't included Blue Cheer, Uriah Heep, Whisbone Ash or Black Sabbath though I think those bands have some kick-ass material... I guess HT is right, this thread is far too ambitious to be completed properly... :(
