Harmonic Abuse! Dont know why, most peeps hate it, but this has got the be the best anthemic style metal ballad I have ever heard in my life, regardless of cliche. I beyond like the singing, but I like Bon Jovi and 80s style ballads as well. This song seems to fall somewhere in between the two styles (Metal ballad/80s rock ballad). Dont know why I posted this... I just love this song :)

Yeah it's the second best song on the album (after My Spirit Will Go On). I don't like it as much as you do but they really needed to put a ballad there after all the speed :P At least it's far better than Starfire from VotD...

Ya, I actually do enjoy this song. Dragonforce, good as they are, are incredibly monotonous and its a nice break from that.

After the 2 threads about Dragonforce i can't stop listening to them. Damn good band. And Dawn Over a New World is a great song.

Its one of the best ballads i have heard in a while, but i am a sucker for a good ballad. Yeah, my spirit will go on it a top song, but why hasnt anyone mentioned Soldiers Of The Wasteland yet? Its a ripping track, that break in the middle part has the best "galloping" riff eva!
Their first album is very good tood and Starfire is GOOD, all their ballads are done well.
