Post subject: Anyone heard this band yet?

The band is HIGHLAND GLORY, and they are pretty damn good in terms of catchy songs and good vocals. I am digging the new album, "Forever Endeavor", quite alot. Anyone else into these guys??

Believe it or not, at a local store. Which usually doesn't carry any metal worth buying. It's excellent all the way through. Not a bad song on it. Reminds me of Lost Horizon meets Helloween.

Yeah, for sure man. I mean, Daniel Heiman is pretty unique, but this guy has the power and almost the same delivery at times. Just check out the opening screams in "Spirit of Salvation". Hell yeah! Imagine Heiman without all the grit (although he does use that grittiness effectively at times) during the verses - that is what he sounds like. Great harmonies and melodies as well. The melodies stick like meat hooks in your brain! He also sounds like Midnight of Crimson Glory at the beginning of the title track, which is a really eerie feeling. The music is varied, not all the same speed all the time. Some parts remind me of later Helloween and even Masterplan but with more power in some parts. Other times, the Lost Horizon influence is more evident. Just a killer CD.... I can't get it out of my CD player.
