Here i am with nothing to do, exactly a week left until school starts, trying to be productive with myself.

AND THE LIST GOES ON AND ON  but for some reason Mirror Mirror only appeals to me if it's live, Time stands still... is way better

Soooooo hard to answer.

For soft, The Bard's Song.

For metal... ugh... I'm not totally sure, but I've always had a huge soft spot for "The Age of False Innocence". I know this isn't one of BG's more popular songs, but I just really fell in love with it.

Can't possibly choose only one, but i think the one i've been playing the most is Time Stand Still.
Actually that goes for the entire NiME album.

When Sorrow Sang is my all time favorite. Lord of the Rings is a close second. And then Somwehre Far beyond the song, is third.

WSS is pretty good but A Dark Passage owns it!

I really like Theatre of Pain and Somewhere Far Beyond. Call me a dissenter but I like the Somewhere Far Beyond album better than NiME. *shrug*

Yes, there really are too many to choose from. Nightfall, Somewhere Far Beyond, A Dark Passage, Traveller in Time, Imaginations From the Other Side, Lost in the Twilight Hall, Valhalla, Majesty, The Soulforged and And Then There Was Silence are just all too awesome.

Ya, I understand where you're coming from. Having read and loved The Silmarillion made hearing Nightfall in Middle Earth even better.

Well, as its been a long time since I've read the book and can't remember everyone's name by a long shot, its the part of the book where the slightly asshole elf from the hidden city (Gondorel or something? I really can't remember anything's) gets captured by Morgoth and betrays the location of the city. At least I think thats it.
