Well, they kick ass and the self-titled and Night Of The Stormrider are their worst albums. Great music, shite singers! Get the Days Of Purgatory 2CD set for those song with Matt singing.

4. Don't be a jerk like me and pop in to any topic you like about a band you hate, and then talk about how lame the band is. Take that shit elsewhere.

You know those are a very good rules.There should be a disciplinary committee making sure the rules aren't violated.
Holy_Terror, if you really hate Iced Earth you should say it once and be done with it.
And WiC try not to get so excited when someone does not agree with you or simply has different views about a band.

Try to be more civilized for God's sake.Why does everyone has the urge to insult someone he doens't even know ?

they are pop oriented metal songs, and I think you're being close minded. I didnt say you had to agree with me, thats just what I think. Iced Earth for me is one of the more commercial metal acts and songs like Watching over me and Melancholy are prime examples of their commerciality. Then they jocked Iron Maiden's cover for the Trooper Single so they could draw attention to a shitty song. I used to love em, but goddamnit, they've strayed so far from any kind of metal redemption, that all I can do is laugh at them. ANd just so there's no confusion, this is an opinion. You guys started the slagging, I'm ending it. Get over it.

Kind of how your banned ripped off iron maiden in a few of your songs, not influenced, ripped off.

We used the drum fill from Where Eagles Dare to open a song. It was meant as a tribute, and its still meant in that way. The fact that you couldnt even name the Maiden song shows how much you know. And you're right, it 100% is a Maiden fill, but again, in case you missed it, it was done on purpouse, and I even got Bruce Dickinson's blessing, for he has his own copy of the demo.

Oh and ICed Earth is still pure crap. And the cover to the reckoning....its not even that its similar, its the same concept, drawn in the same way, with a zombie in a uniform holding a flag, the only difference is the nationality of the zombie.

I know what the song is, considering I probably listen to Piece of Mind as much as you.
