YES! Especially Defenders album. Pick up the new
EuroForce- (s/t) Jiotis sings for that album. If you like his voice you should find plenty to like here.

Give it more listens, they are great and sound different than most other bands. Singer has amazing voice and talent. Their first album has some average songs, but has some excellent ones like title track, Under Black Age Toil, Forgive & Forget, Stroke of Fate, Damned to Bedlam, Amberdawn. Overall really refreshing band among stale power metal genre.

Their 2nd album is even better with maybe only 1 song that isn't great.

Truly awesome band. I hope they bring another album out soon. The idea of sharing a singer with another band can't be good though :? .

Human Fortress got my attention with their debut "Lord of earth and heavens heir". It was different to what had been coming out around the same time. A bit of prog mixed in, but not enough to discourage the power metal fan.
When "Defenders of the crown" came out, they sounded more aggressive, moved slightly into the power metal genre but still keep a touch of prog in there.
If they are releasing new material, i will be very interested.

A top metal band, in my opinion. Very impressive

Hmm, I've had the first 2 Human Fortress albums for quite a while, but from the first impressions I liked the debut better because of Jiotis superb vocals, then I eagerly put the second disc in and was disappointed at a) the weak/muddy production and b) Jiotis voice had gone gruffer and where did the great upper register of his voice go?!
I've known of Euroforce since the day it was announced and waited just as eagearly to hear how they/Jiotis sounds like... well, after finally hearing some sound clips I was slightly disappointed again to hear the-gruff-voice of Jiotis... :/
But I'm still of course gonna buy the Euroforce album, but dunno when yet... And I must re-check those HF albums again :)

No that isn't cancelled. Herman Frank himself told me at the backstage of Tuska Festival that Jioti is their new singer. He isn't the first guy who is involved with two or more bands...
