I like it quite a bit .. can only do so many variations on the same 'ole power metal formula and they are trying something slightly different. My only problem with Strato is Timo is not a great live singer .. |

Agreed. I've got 3 albums of Stratovarius - Episode, Visions, Destiny. Visions is indeed their crowning achievement, but those 3 are what I feel truly defines Stratovarius' peak. After hearing a few songs off of this newest album, I'm disappointed to find Timo Kotipelto sounding bad, or at least completely lifeless and unwilling to take some risks. |

Seriously, after a few listens, after letting the album grow ripe a bit. I have to admit that I'm hooked. I don't care if they look like lesbians or not. I don't care if you are stuck in your 90's nostalgy. This album feels good to my ears. |
