The double album is among my all time favourites. Therion was once just a phenomenal band. The lead guitar on Son of The Sun is incredible.

My introduction into Therion. The double album is one of the best things they have done, possibly behind Secret of the Runes.

Personally i slightly prefer Gothic Kabbalah but Sirius & Lemuria is probably my 2nd favorite.

That said i wouldn't consider it one of the best record ever but it's certainly in the discussion for Therion best work.

This .. actually I prefer Theli and Deggial and Secret of the Runes as well .. so really a middle of the pack Therion album for me.

Absolutely. Deggial remains my favorite.

Deggial is fucking great. Lots of variety, and just a thoroughly well thought out record from start to finish. Their death metal stuff is good as well.

Yep, Beyond Sanctorum is another great one from a band that made much of their career based on releasing great albums.
