Night of the Stormrider. Vocals might not be the greatest but that album has more killer riffs than the rest of IE's catalogue combined. Okay that's hyperbole but come on... Pure Evil, Travel in Stygian, Angel's Holocaust, Stormrider will all melt your face.

Storm Rider or Burnt Offerings. Iced Earth is cool too. Fuck the haters on that one.

Burnt Offerings is their best, Night of the stormrider has two good songs and sucks as a whole album and Days of Purgatory has a few good songs but gets destroyed by the gay ballads. Terrible band overall, but Burnt Offerings is a great album

Burnt offerings the title track is one of the greatest metal songs ever written.

I feel it's the other way around. Burnt Offerings has the title track and Dante's Inferno, the rest I could do without. While Night of the Stormrider is solid all the way through.

Anyway, I like almost everything they've done and it's difficult for me to count out, for instance, Horror Show. I know most people don't like it for some reason, but I think it's 90% awesome.

I only have this and Dark Saga sitting around and got bored with Stormrider quickly. It was mediocre Pantera worship to me. Funny how many bands took Pantera's Cowboys from Hell and remade it in every respect except the songwriting was no where on that level.

Really, Pantera? I'll admit I don't listen much to Pantera but I've never even for one second thought to compare IE to them :)

(And yes, I'm aware the vocals are dreadful. I have ears.)

Glorious Burden. Don't tread on the eagle crying, motherfuckers.

(serious answer - not sure, probably Burnt Offerings)

It's not their best, it's the one I enjoy the most (Husker is asking for your favourite). Perhaps because it was my first, I don't know. 8 tracks, 8 aces... What can I say? It's my favourite IE album, in spite of the poor vocals.

Although if I were allowed to choose a compilation or live, I'd choose Live in Athens first, Days of Purgatory second, s/t third.

Can't decide between The Dark Saga and Something Wicked This Way Comes...

Horror Show is just a bee's dick behind the other 2

Night of the stormrider. My first IE, and the one I enjoy most.
