Dont know how i stumbled on this. Anyone else into obscure Inys or unsigned bands. Especially in the tradiotional Heavy or power realm. (Seems like there are tons that are hardcore or metalcore these days)

The new song at the site reminds me of a cross between old Iron Maiden and Early Nocturnal Rites (since many like Tales of Mystery and frequently talk about the old school sound (holy Terror esp)

This had that old school Power metal sound and was just posting for anyone intersted in obscure power/heavy acts.

Listen to Were Riding out
Especially for those still into the 80s sound.

Fuckin' sweet! Remember when bands used to put who plays what solo in the middle of the lyrics?? Hahaha!

Saddling up our noble steeds, wagons prepared for the war
Supporting metal in words and in deeds, spreading it's reign mighty far
Bringing our sounds to the edge of the earth, taking control of all life
Making a world wherein steel's given birth, using our rifles and knifes

We're Riding Out!
To defend our metal religion
We're Riding Out!
To bring you our bibles of steel
We're Riding out!
To release our ironclad pigeons
We're Riding Out!
To give you the truth that is real

Storming the lands to erase all that's fake, slaughtering pagans for fun
Running the fields for the metal god's sake, empowered with swords and with guns
Villages, towns, nowhere will they be safe, they can't hide from us metal fans
Kingdoms and castles, protection they gave, but not against the metal clans!

We're Riding Out!
To defend our metal religion
We're Riding Out!
To bring you our bibles of steel
We're Riding out!
To release our ironclad pigeons
We're riding Out!
To give you the truth that is real

Solo > Veenstra (4:32)
Solo > Hoekstra (4:57)

We're Riding Out!
To defend our metal religion
We're Riding Out!
To bring you our bibles of steel
We're Riding out!
To release our ironclad pigeons
We're riding Out!
To give you the truth that is real

OK, with my laughing fit out of the way, this isn't bad. I'd buy it. The English is a bit nonsensical in parts, but musically they sound pretty good. They do have a huge 80's vibe to them, a bit of that Manowar silliness, too. Not bad at all. The song "Helepolis" (under MP3) is pretty kick ass, even better "We're Riding Out."

IRON RECORDINGS OF STEEL, MUTHAFUCKAS!!

We're riding out is a good song.I really liked what i heard. When the chorus came i thought the vocalist sounded too much like Toshi from X-Japan.

I e-mailed the band and asked how we can get some of their stuff. They haven't replied yet.
