I just heard the song Last Rites by these guys and I am impressed, if someone could recommend me the best album to start with or similar bands, I would appreciate it a lot.

Yep. Battle Cry is solid. In fact, Last Rites is from that album. The Curse is another album by this band that is recommended.

I was actually only made aware of how good this band was a few years back when I bought the 2005 reissue of Necromantia's Crossing the Fiery Path where they included a cover of Death Rider. Checked out the original and actually liked Necromantia's cover better, lol, but still quite an awesome band for sure. Unfortunately, I've had to stick to downloading because since then I haven't been able to find their cds at any of my usual distro and record store haunts.

But yeah, Omen! :dio:
