I decided to pull out 'Awakening The World' today and it made me curious as to what the biggest procrastinators in the world were up to... Anyway, there are a few clips of their 'new album' up on their website.

Did they find a vocalist to replace Heiman? I remember the reason why it's taken so long for them to find one is because they want on that either can go toe to toe with Heiman or someone more powerful.

If I recall, those clips were posted a long time ago. Unfortunately, I think this band is over. I know Wojotek joined some other band so I doubt he's still continuing the vocalist search. Also, I doubt people are still auditioning.

I have A Flame to the Ground Beneath, but did not listen to Awakening the World. Should I make it a priority?

Yes.

Both are amazing albums, but I've long since given up hope of ever hearing anything from them again.

I've not gotten deep into their music. Basically I only know the song "Pure" backwards and forwards, which is easy to sing. I have a Bass-Heavy voice, like that guy who's name I can never remember from Human Fortress. Maybe I'll send a tape along to them one of these days.

notes, why the fuck not?
