They're coming to graspop and I probably won't be able to be there. This shit sucks. |

Well it wasn't as if Nostradamus was fantastic or anything, but Angel of Retribution was great, I would like to see them release at least another one, so this kinda sucks. |

I was expecting a more elaborate statement to be honest. |

Is this a "farewell world tour, we're too old to tour the world any more" or is it a "we're quitting music and this is the last thing we'll do together"? The former, surely. |

+1. I'd be bummed if I never get to see them live. |

That's a good news that old glories such as Scorpions and Judas Priest know how to stop before becoming a shame to their great name. Actually, JP should have made their farewell tour after Angel of Retribution. That would have kept them from releasing the embarrassing Nostradamus. Anyway, since the latest live footage shown on youtube clearly displays a poor performance (especially Rob's vocals), I don't think I'll go see them on this last tour. Next in line for a farewell tour: Iron Maiden. |

Probably for the best. I'll be trying my hardest to make sure I see them before they call it quits. |

They need to do one more Painkiller style of album before they hang it up. I guess a lot of bands are ready to retire. Sad though I still believe that some of them can still chug out some good albums if they would just listen to their fan base and produce some. |

Perfect timing if you ask me. Retire on a strong note and don't bleed yourselves dry. |

Halford was fine when I saw him. He still belts it out. |

Well, I should be able to see them this summer since their gig on Finland will not be at the same time as Hammer open air. Looking forward to it, been wanting to see Priest live for a long time allredy. |

Saw Halford in the summer, the man still has pipes. I honestly thought they'd do another album before calling it quits. Oh well, I'll be getting tickets for sure. Definitely getting floor tickets, gonna try to get backstage or something. There is always a VIP package. |

Farewell world tour. As in, last world tour. But I've not seen anything saying that they'll stop making albums. |

I am saddened, but I guess everything must go. I agree with the other posts that it is a good thing they are leaving on a high. I did hope they would tour India some day. |
