Big Improvement over the Scythe.

Tons of melodies.

Huge departure from Folk elements, the one downside.

But if you don't have big expectations for another "Heathenreel", it's a very enjoyable listen - I find the CD strong from beginning to end.

Oh god

Watching that video was a bad idea. Pretty good song, but wow... that video makes me hate a band I once considered a favorite. Maybe not hate, just laugh at.

New album is ok.. The single sucks and that video makes me embarrassed to say I like them.

Heathenreel, The Winter Wake and Two Tragedy Poets are all very good releases.. Its really annoying that this band cant seem to find any consistency whatsoever..

Well, I've heard Heathenreel and this, and supposedly Heathenreel is their best, so . . . they've gone from being mostly funny and partly bad to mostly bad and partly funny.

Wyrd and Heathenreel are absolutely excellent, some of the best in the genre.

Listening to 'The Cabal' again and I can't get that damn video out of my head. Still, not a bad song, and I can still hear the folkiness. I might actually really end up liking this.
