Ha ha, guess their last release wasnt received too well. That would explain their obvious attempt to sound heavier.

I still do not like this band. In fact, most of the samples, while sounding heavier, were not good in my opinion. But then again, rarely do I like modern power metal.

And fuck you Anus. You have exceeded the scope of my previous argument. If you somehow feel vindicated, who am I to try and ruin your little fantasy world? Enjoy another lame-shit Helloween release with the rest of the fan boys. I will continue listening to "Victory" by Trance.

As a side note, those are some of the lamest song titles ever.

You Stupid Mankind?
Not Yet Today?
Raise the Noise?
Who Is Mr. Madman?

Oh, and the last one was just a one-off project, no need to get excited.

I agree, very lame song titles, and the clips were nothing to get exicted about either.

Regarding their last release, it will forever serve as a reminder of what this current incarnation of Helloween is capable of.

Not sure how excited I am about this, but those samples do sound heavier than anything Helloween's ever done. I'd dare to say it's heavier than their re-recordings album!!

I don't think those tracks sound all that heavy compared to their other stuff. Sort of sounds like everyday modern Helloween.

And who the fuck complains about their song titles? They have all kinds of retarded song titles.

Well, if the song title is stupid, then the lyrical content, we can only assume, will be stupid as well. Stupid song titles and stupid lyrics are major components of stupid songs. Seems logical enough. So what we have here potentially is, heavier, stupid Helloween songs.

Who cares about the lyrical content when it's power metal? I know I don't... And, anyway, most metal bands have silly lyrics so, as long as the music is good, I don't see where the problem is... It's no like they have a song named Poser Patrol or something...

I think Poser Patrol lyrics have meaning for a lot of metal heads, amusing as they are, and people who are much more serious in their "metall-dom" than I am in fact take them quite seriously. Besides, those lyrics were metaphors for what most extreme metal heads would like to do but can't. I wouldnt call them stupid, more toungue-in-cheek. I think some of the lyrics were quite clever. For instance, "don't impose your posing." Nice little play on words if I do say so my self.

But back to your argument. The power metal that I like, has excellent lyrics. You're right that a lot of it has terrible lyrics, but those bands mostly suck. Blind Guardian and Fates Warning have some of the best lyrics ever written. Nocturnal Rites lyrics on the first two albums were also quite good. This is just a small cross section of power metal bands with great lyrics, but I think it serves to illustrate the point that good power metal generally has good lyrics. Granted, most of them had a fantasy or mystical theme to them, but they were all well written and the song titles reflected the creativity.

Now, I havent read the Helloween lyrics, but I have read the song titles, and like I said, because the titles are no good, it's difficult not to assume that they were taken from a bad set of lyrics. This is all I'm saying. I could be wrong, but if lyrics are stupid and bad, it's harder to have a good song. Additionally, Helloween post-Hansen is notorious for having really stupid lyrics. This may have been partyly due to Kiske losing his mind, but Weikath had a lot to do with it, and he's still in the band.

Holy Terror is one of the most bitter assholes online. It's great comedy.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but you're one of those elitist turds that shits all over great bands for being unoriginal, selling out, having shit solos, lame riffs, and so on, while being in a shitty metal band that exemplifies all those things, right?

Hah! Who are you to call out anyone as an asshole?

Elitist turds doesn't shit all over bands for being unoriginal by the way. At least I don't. I'd rather have them unoriginal than them dicking around with experimental crap and trying to be something they're not.

When it comes to Helloween, I never cared for much of their newer stuff. I find it pretty damn bland to be honest.

I'm not really an asshole. Not always anyway. I'm just an asshole to a few people here, who have always been an asshole to me. So a part-time asshole, but justified.

As for being an elitist, you clearly don't understand what it means. Holy Turd can't just ignore a band trying something experimental; he has to turn it into something profound, something that sheds light on how shitty the band truly is, how it reflects upon them as people. It makes him feel good, better about himself and his shitty life.

7 Sinners isn't a forced response becuase the mainstream public didn't go nuts over their last "sell out" album. The reality is, the band just tried something different. It doesn't go any deeper than that. But to an elitist retard, that's too simple for their own twisted ego to accept.

All I said was that I thought the band sucked. You seem to take everything I say as a personal affront, when really, I could give a flying fuck what you think. My opinion was purely musical and instead of focusing on that you have to make it personal all the time. I don't understand why you can't just focus on the musical aspect of it, you always have to make it personal.

I get it, you don't like Harbinger, though I doubt you listened to the album. And if you did like anything on it you wouldnt admit it anyway. Really I could care less if you like it or not, but I don't understand how it's relevant to me thinking that Helloween sucks.

Your inability to limit the discussion to the music shows what man-spirited little prick you are. You don't have to agree with me, but just respect the fact that everyone is entitled to their opinion and that this is a forum where people are allowed to share those opinions. You turn it into a personal pissing match every time wherein you take cheap shots at the other person all the while crying foul on them in a really pathetic and transparent attempt to veil your lack of a meaningful argument.

I don't know how old you are, but it seems you need to grow up a little bit.

BTW, I'm done arguing with this asshole. Unless he wants to discuss the music he doesnt exist to me.

Why should I spend paragraphs that are meant to say one thing: You're a retard. I can just say it the easier way. The former is your style.

And I love to talk music. What I don't enjoy is spending SO MUCH energy talking about bands I dislike. You spend way more time doing that, which is indicative of a fragile ego. You constantly have to reinforce it by shitting on other things.

As for your band, see, I have listened to Harbinger, and you guys aren't bad at all. My point in even mentioning your band is fairly simple: You play the stuff you supposedly hate. But you have a built-in excuse, whatever it may be. I mean, just look at your statement about stupid song titles:

"Stupid song titles and stupid lyrics are major components of stupid songs."

Yet before anyone can even mention your stuff, you have an ready-made excuse:

"I wouldnt call them stupid, more toungue-in-cheek."

But they are stupid. Of course, that doesn't fucking matter! Because stupid song titles and stupid lyrics are NOT components of stupid songs. Not as a rule, anyway.

You focus on everything that isn't important.
