More great power metal from Finland. Highly recommended. Line-up: Timo Kotipelto - Vocals Jani Liimatainen - Guitars Mikko Harkin - Keyboards Jukka Koskinen - Bass Jani "Hurtsi" Hurula - Drums http://www.cainsoffering.com/index1.html I really have to say that the clips sound really good. Kotipelto in my opinion sings better than ever before and I really mean it. Listen the clips and find out for yourself. |

I could care less about an album cover as long as the music is solid. I've bought albums with crappy covers a bunch of times but the music was solid. |

I'm sorry, but this is amazing! I hate ballads, typically, but they are so damn good on this one. And YES this sounds like early Sonata, not all the time, but I'd say most of the time. At work I'll start humming thinking its a Sonata song and then think, 'what band is that?' I have to think twice becasue I say Sonata at first, but I know it isn't, then I realize it is Cain's Offering. You're deaf if you think different. |

Wow. How's that for overrating? Kidding, Nessie, but I don't find it anywhere near as good as you say. I'm still listening to it for my review (which is taking me ages to write, fucking college apps getting in the way   ).

Let's put it this way. Like someone mentioned in the days of gays thread, Flag in the Ground is better than every song on this album. But, every song on this album is better than all the remaining songs on Days... |

I must admit that I am not a Kotipelto fan, but he doesn't really sound like Strato Kotipelto. Like I said, I'm liking everything about this and that includes Kotipelto's vocals, except for the occasional slip. |

He definitely hits a lot less high notes on the CO album. |
