I heard the leak of the first two tracks... They're alright. Pretty good. I think I like "A Rite Of Passage" more. I am looking forward to this. |

So I assume the picture of the album in the original post is a promotional copy? I guess this means leaked versions will start rearing their heads within the next couple weeks... I think I will refrain from downloading them as to respect the band. I've heard the fist two leaked songs, and that's plenty for me; more than enough to let me know that I need to buy this album. Dream Theater is my all time favorite band, and I doubt they'll disappoint (they never have for me). |

It's my opinion and I'll post as often as I'll feel despite your idiotic rudeness. Deal with it. |

These first two songs are better than anything on Systematic Chaos. I can't wait to hear the rest. |

You used to be so sweet. What happened? ![]() Looking forward to this album. I've liked (i.e. not loved) everything they've done. |

Today only, the band has A Rite Of Passage available for free download. You can download it right here: http://www.roadrunnerrecords.com/blabbe ... mID=119495 Overall, it's quite good. It sounds like DT is moving away from the heavy metal sound they had on Train Of Thought and Octavarium and reverting back to the lighter/proggier sound of their 90's output. There's also a great guitar solo towards the end, and James LeBrie has never sounded better. I'm definitely looking forward to this album. |
