Has anyone bought it, listened to it, etc? What's your opinion? I bought it last weekend and I've listened to it a few times. I love the overall theme, the stories contained within the lyrics are great, and Wilton has brought back the signature harmonized Queensryche guitar sound. ![]() |

I like it, a lot. Nothing's really stuck out, but it's a very good cd. |

Senor Goat-man, my favorite Queensryche CD would probably be "The Warning". Of course "Rage For Order" is a die hard fan favorite. Check into those as well as the famed EP. *I'm also one of the few that enjoyed "Q2K" ![]() |

Ok I havve to admit that was a decent song a lot heavier than anything they have released thus far post Empire. It's going to be a wait and see if the whole album is up to par or will this be yet another stink fest the Ryche has released. |

I'm a huge QR fan, and I've liked everything they done so far, but I rank this as their worst. It's simply badly executed. I don't give a shit about harmonized solos. Considering Wilton didn't write a note on the album, I'm unimpressed. "At 30,000 Ft" is a great song, though. |

Nonsense ! ![]() This is far superior to everything they've done from Q2K (their worst album) to Mindcrime II... You, Anus, have shitty taste. ![]() |

I like the new CD quite a bit. My vote for worst Queensryche CD would have to go to Mindcrime II which is just un-listenable for me. As for their recent material, I like Q2K, Tribe, and now American Soldier. You can't expect bands to go back to what they sounded like 15-20 years ago. |

Nobody expects them to. I just want some good music form them, which they fail at doing anymore, IMO of course. Tate has said time and again that he's just not that interested in metal music anymore, and that's fine, but the transition to quasi-rock/alt-metal has been a rough road. They had already progressed pretty far from their old sound with Empire, but that was still good. Now they are trying to recapture the glory of a sound they don't even really want to play anymore and it shows. |

Have only heard the one song If I Were King and it seemed pretty good, and i must be in the minority here but actually thought Mincrime II was not bad at all, would it match the first one, NEVER, but good in it's own way... |
