I hear that it looks like Heed have broken up. Good news if the chance that Daniel will go back to sing on the next LH album!

This is from their myspace.

Hi,

As you..ve probably noticed the last couple of years Heed has been very inactive.
So... we have decided to put Heed on ice!

All band members in Heed continues on their own with other projects but this myspace will still be up incase anything changes in the future.

Stay hard...

/Heed

Yeah, I also read about this a few weeks ago. I think this is.. good news? I think so yes. I really liked the first Heed album but the songs I head from the second one disappointed me and I never got that one. So in that respect, whatever Daniel does now maybe it's better for a singer of his caliber than wasting time and effort being misused in such a band as the 2nd-album Heed (I still maintain that I liked the 1st one).

But will he return to Lost Horizon? Or is such a thing important or any good any more? Answers to those questions I can only guess. I read somewhere that Daniel has some side-projects and he'd like to concentrate to one of them much more now (I can't find the source right now. Lavett maybe ?). The way I see it, whatever happens it will be too much of a gamble to call before the final result. I'm not sure I can trust the protagonist (Wojtek) to come up with another earth-shattering musical experience like the previous LH albums nor can I trust that Daniel's new project will not go to completely wrong directions ("wrong" according to me and my expectations ofcourse) and suck big time.

Anyway, that's just some random thoughts, maybe for discussion maybe for ignoring. Heh. let's just hope for the best and maybe a LH-Heiman reunion and a killer album.

It is pointless making comparison's between these two bands, in my opinion, only one of them is an actual band. Heed, is complete garbage compared to Lost Horiozn. I still don't know what the impetus behind such a disasterous career move for Daniel...maybe he's retarded?

I wasn't aware Heed had two releases, didn't mind the first but wasn't as good as Lost Horizon he should have stayed.

You know what... I'm not sure about the second release either. I know they intended to have a 2nd album. There are songs from it on their myspace page and they are taken from a demo recording (2007). As I said before, I didn't like the new songs so I never cared to learn if they released it or decided to call it quits before that. I'm checking some websites now and I'm starting to get the impression that they didn't release that second one. Some "new" songs are still on their myspace webpage though http://www.myspace.com/heedonline as well as some of their oldest news talking about that forthcoming album.
