Recently discovered this awesome band. Straight up Heavy Metal, thought some people around here (if they havent already heard of them) would appreciate em. Its also amazing that the singer is female. The first few times I listened to them I thought it was a man it wasn't until I read up on em that I noticed. She is pretty hot too

Benedictum's Myspace Check out the song 'Beast In The Field' :dio:

I recently discovered them myself when Seasons Of Tragedy was released. I first thought the girl would sing like all those symphonic metal bands with female singers but surprisingly she sounds like a heavy metal vocalist and really fits with music. Beast In The Field is an awesome song, the best on the album imo.

Beast in The Field is definately one of the better songs, I prefer Shell Shock and Legacy though, only slightly.

They're a great band. In fact I'm listening to "Within The Solace" right now. I've been listening to 'Seasons Of Tragedy" constantly since it was released. I just never get tired of it.

Added Bonus = Veronica is just incredibly HOT!!

Decent band, but not as good as people say they are. And that bitch has a cock. You people are nuts.

I'm not saying I wouldn't, but I certainly wouldn't be bragging afterwards.

She's looks damn hot in those dolled-up pictures with the titties all bunched up and smothered in make-up; but when she's looking a bit tore up and sweaty, she's not attractive, she looks like a dude with big tits.

Women are hot when sweaty -- not when they've got make up caked onto their faces.

As for the band, they're nothing special.

She's still damn hot and they're creating damn good traditional heavy metal music. Plus, their cover of Accept's "Balls To The Wall" is perfect. Oh well, I guess that Veronica and the rest of Benedictum are not for everyone.

Some women are hot when sweaty. But when the only reason the woman looks like a woman is because of the make-up, then when sweaty and sans make-up she looks like a construction worker with a wig and fake boobs.

Ah, well, yes. That I concur to.

Haven't heard the band, but when people talk more about the physical attributes of the band members normally is not a good sign... and I don't see what's so hot about her, looks pretty average to me.

The only traditional female fronted Heavy Metal band I like is Zed Yago, Doro Pesch never really did it for me.

She's quite ugly when "natural" actually... Kind of scary too...

As for the music, I haven't checked it out yet, but there are a couple of good reviews on Metal Archives so I'll try listening to it.

They're quite good. I think Steel Rain is there best song. They also did a admirable cover of Heaven and Hell.

Not bad but still generic heavy metal... The voice kind of reminds me of a less feminine Doro Pesch...

I agree. They are a decent band but I think if they didnt have a chic that sings like a guy they would have been lost with the rest of the bands.

And many of their riffs are borderline nu-metal.

That's made me want to check them out again, perversely.
