Yeah, they're more on the US power/Painkiller speed side of things than NWOBHM. But still, fantastic band, Hell Destroyer is still my favourite from last year. |

Conquest of Steel don't play anything that sounds post-1985. The only problem is that they're merely ok, nothing special. Worth listening to, though. Steel Tormentor are a young Irish band with a strong NWOBHM/early power metal influence: www.myspace.com/themightysteeltormentor I particularly recommend "Warrior" and "The Last Day." |
