Epic metal from like what, the '80s? Cool.
Anyway, what's their best album?

Open The Gates or The Deluge. These two are incredible.

My favourites are Crystal Logic, Mystification and Open the Gates... although you can't go wrong with pretty much anything of theirs except The Circus Maximus

Crystal Logic is my favorite. Manilla road is the only band that could call a song "Flaming Metal Systems" and still have it be awesome.

They've got a new track from the upcoming album here.

I personally do not find it so great. A little too slow for my tastes.

In the crypts of Atlantean Kings, I found what I was looking for"

Lost in Necropolis - this song will blow your mind. Nothing to fancy, but structurally, it is absolutely perfect. The only other song that is written this perfectly is Crazy Doctor by Loudness.

Don't believe him, I wouldn't have it one note shorter. This album is the embodiment of awesomeness. It's grandiose, sinister, epic, melodic, brutal and beautiful. Even the intro is bone chilling. The Road delivers once more.

I suppose Crystal Logic is still their best for me, though I've been working my way through their discog and still haven't found another record like it.

Still think Voyager is their weakest since Metal. On a related note, Mark Of The Beast would have made a way better second album than Metal. I love it.

Sums up my thoughts on this album pretty well. But 1.5 for Atlantis Rising?! Bah!
