Sadly, just like with Gates of Winter, I have the Myrath debut 'Hope', but haven't really started spinning it yet.

I have heard enough to tell you that it's highly recommended to Symphony X and Adagio fans...
Oh, and just like with the Gates of Winter debut, it will arrive to Metal CD Ratings soon.
:)

Ive listened to "Hope", although it is quite a good album I dont see how this would appeal to Adagio fans?

As a matter of fan they're one of my fav bands :)
But I guess you are comparing them in terms of their progressiveness? I just feel Adagio are more neo-classical and are heavily keyboard-oriented...
Nevertheless your comparsion to Symphony X was spot on.

Musically, there are some spots where it sounds like I'm listening to Adagio.

Awesome band from a country you wouldn't expect it. Hopefully they will get the attention they deserve.
