Holy crap. I checked this out on a reccommendation of a friend, and was extremely pleasantly surprised. This may be the best album I've heard released in 2007, though I did ignore a lot of the releases this year. The instrumentation is absolutely superb, and it's all really refreshing and intensely interesting. I usually hate self-indulgent music, but this is something that just really blew my balls off. Any suggestions for other music as awesome as this? I think the lack of vocals does a lot for it, as death metal (and often most vocals) just cover the awesome music up. |
