Please feel free to discuss voting in this thread, or ask questions about albums you are unsure of where to place.

Please only discuss voting in this thread, not in the voting thread.

Hey yeah this ain't fair. Death/black/thrash all got separate voting threads but you group heavy/power/prog into one. At least do another for progressive metal. You can't expect me to list the top 5 albums from 3 genres. Is this format the same as last year ? I don't think it is otherwise I would have said something.

You are correct, my apologies. I added the prog poll. Anyone who already voted for prog albums in the first poll will need to amend their list. Sorry about that. I haven't been getting a lot of sleep lately thanks to the little one. There should be one for Heavy/Power/True and another for Prog, as it was last year. The reasoning for this is that if you split the first three out, it spreads the voting too thin. If you remember, that was the way it was done the first year, and every five minutes someone was asking if a band was Heavy, Power, or True. Death, Black, and Thrash are much easier to differentiate, and their votes are numerous, so they each get their own thread. Sorry again for all the confusion!

Hey afro lint, age of nemesis' Terra Incognita came out in 2003, the 2007 version has english translated lyrics. Don't know if that qualifies.

I think prog rock, such as Coheed and Cambria, should go in Rock/Hard Rock, just because it isn't metal. Stuff like Pagan's Mind should go in the prog metal thread.

I'd say it qualifies. It's a bit different than a reissue, you know? Not sure, though. Adam?

I don't know, I mean if it originally came out in '03, then it's not really a new album, even if the lyrics are being translated for the first time.

So, no one else heard "eye for an eye" this year.
I'll have to check and make sure it wasn't resissued this year by locomotive.

update: it was released originally this year, and I did'nt know Joacim cans sang on it either. (and produced) Andy laroche produced also.

I'm sure you can find another deserving candidate in your massive collection. :D

Oh, and Octavarius, yours will have to be deleted as well.
